Feb 26 - March 06

Baja. One of our favorite places to eat (and drink), despite the horrible red lighting that makes me feel like a piece of Kentucky Fried Chicken. The sangria is worth it.

Another pizza + family shot. Sean's family came to town and we hit up Napoli's. The Hawaiian pizza is one of the new options from their recently revamped menu. Recently, as in the day before we ordered it!

Poor little bottle, abandoned on the sidewalk.

My Christmas cactus that never seems to bloom on Christmas.

Whenever we hit the point when we just can't take it anymore, I call the cleaning lady.  I came home to a spic and span home, and our boots all lined up in a row.

Little guy peeking out of a plant on 6th Street.

Caught in the act!

The day of all days: St. Pat's in Hoboken. In line at Willie's by 8am, drinking by 9am, parade at 1pm, nap at 2pm, Shake Shack by 6pm, the Standard by 8pm, home and in bed by 11pm.

Sunday night dinner at Mama Fink's house. Sometimes it's worth it to go to the 'burbs.

Feb 20 - Feb 25

Rudy likes to help me make the bed.

Best. Lunch. Ever. Yes, even better than the leftovers from last week.  My office has a catered lunch every Monday, and today was "Southern/Creole Food." Chicken-fried steak, cornbread, mac and cheese, shrimp and sausage jambalaya, and purple potato salad. As my British co-worker noted, "Southern food doesn't look too pretty, but it sure is tasty!"

A nice tableau.

Just because Easter isn't for another two months doesn't mean I can't enjoy Easter-colored peanut butter M&Ms.

Happy hour with the kickball team. Someone had the munchies and ordered s'mores. Open flame + drunk people = maybe not a great idea.

Quite the week for good lunches. My boss and a few co-workers and I drove all the way to Jersey City to eat at Taqueria. I still love Taco Truck the best, but this was definitely excellent.

Feb 16 - Feb 19

A new 'fitness boutique' opened up in Hoboken a few months ago. They had a deal on Groupon that I snatched up, so I've been going once or twice a week. It's a very nice place (in case you couldn't tell by the cedar-lined bathroom), and you can tell it's owned by a woman, because there are complimentary hair ties.

Colin got treated to dinner, and he brought me home the leftovers. Pork empanadas, black beans, and rice. It was the best lunch I had all week!

After that shopping trip, I got motivated to clean out my closet. Can you tell what my favorite color is?

A wonderful night out in NYC with friends & family, complete with homemade chili and drunk octopus.
