April 1 - April 4

Hullo, George.  Life of the party, that lizard.

Making my super easy honey-peanutbutter-soysauce chicken. Final product can be seen on Jan 09.

Went out to the 'burbs to help Colin clean out his childhood room. Many treasures were found, including this journal. Note the drawing of the soldier, complete with whip and gun, and riding a missile.

Wet cement! Colin couldn't walk by without leaving his mark.

March 28 - March 31

A birthday present to myself - new sun hat! Counting down the days to Cape Cod...

Rudy, always good for a last-minute POTD.

And the kickball spring 2011 season is in full effect!

Cleaning out the basement and found this awesome photo frame, made by Aleece. The B fell off but everything else was intact! The watch face even still has the correct time! Not bad for 8 years.

March 20 - March 27

Fantasy baseball draft! Picking Manny Ramierez "for entertainment purposes" did not pay off.

 Oh tulips, so pretty.

This face adequately sums up how I feel about snow after 4 months of it.

A new Stella Artois mural going up (half-finished here).

 The tulips again. WIDE OPEN.

Cat Pee came to visit! Played hookie in the city, tried to take the 30 Rock tour, took the Rock Center tour instead (and saw a wedding at the top!), window shopped, and most importantly: SHAKE SHACK.

Birthday party night! Willie McBrides followed by Duffy's/Cork City and finished off at Pommes Frites. Nom.

WE HAVE A FRIDGE. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

March 14 - March 19

Every Monday we get bagels for breakfast at work. And the Monday before St. Patrick's Day? Green bagels!

 LASER CAT.

Fireworks in Hoboken freak everyone out for the first five seconds. Hoboken is basically a giant echo chamber, and the fireworks make everyone think we're being bombed by the RAF. Especially when they go off at 10 pm on a Tuesday night. Luckily, we've got an excellent view of the show from our own kitchen window.

St. Patrick's Day! (The real one, not the Hoboken one) Gotta break out the shamrock pin my mom gave me.

Another nightly view. With bonus courtyard neighbor windows.

Box cat.

March 07 - March 13

Sometimes you just need photographic evidence of a good hair day. And I'm kind of digging the disco ball effect of the toothpaste splotches all over the mirror.

Not the greatest picture, but the best Thai food we've found in Hoboken so far.

Tulips! My fave. Fresh Picked on 11th & Washington always has the best selection.

All the snow on our roof over the winter has melted and turned into a leak in our roof. PS - see that painter's tape on the trim? It's been there for over a year. Yay home ownership!

Dear McMahon's: I love you. I love your pool table. I love your jukebox. I love your drink prices that vary depending on the whim of the bartender. I love Meg Mal for introducing us. May we be together for a long time.

Dear Duffy's: You may have changed your name to Cork City, but I know what color your roots are.

Elysian is our new hot brunch spot. We still love Anthony David's and their bourbon donuts, but at Elysian you can have booze! Very crucial on Sunday mornings.
