Apparently I can't quit cold turkey

I'm having a lot of fun taking and editing photos with my iPhone. I'll occasionally dump some here if that's alright with you.

IT'S OVER! Dec 26 - Dec 31

HOORAY! The last batch!

This is only the third year we've had a Christmas tree in the apartment (and the first year didn't really count because I wasn't living here yet). We're still building our ornament collection and try to grab one or two from the places we've visited over the past year.

The Christmas festivities for us started on December 23rd, which means I was up until midnight on December 22 wrapping everything!

We LOVE getting Christmas cards. We got as far as the doorknob this year - maybe next year we'll hit the floor!

Remember that Heineken commercial from five or six years ago, where the guy gives his friend a "holiday five-pack" of beer? Colin and Adam decided to co-opt that tradition. Except it only works when you give ACTUAL beer, not non-alcoholic like Adam accidentally bought!!

Merry Christmas 2011!

Last year we gave Mom & Dad a lemon tree. One year later...

We stayed one night with Chumby & Lorelle. I love staying there, because it's basically a petting zoo with three cats and a dog.

Savannah Smiles piano bar!

Savannah has no shortage of excellent food. Papillote Cafe, however, ranks near the top.

Mountain weekend 2011! FINALLY!

The New Year's crew. Glad to spend it with the gang for the fourth year in a row.

And with that, it's over!

Dec 16 - Dec 20

Chopping up some leeks for potato & leek soup.

Colin's mom threw us a beautiful party. The food was AMAZING and we got to dress up!

We came back to Hoboken for the after-party, and of course ended up at McMahon's. The boys ended up playing pool until two a.m. (Note Adam's look of defeat here as her tries to give Colin shooting advice.)

Family present this year: engagement photos!

Sleeping beauty.

Dec 11 - Dec 15

Officially, this project is over. I no longer have to take a photo every day, and it is a HUGE relief. Still have to edit the last 16 photos! My goal is to get them all up by January 31.

Christmas tree lot.

Working our way through the Christmas card list. It seems to get longer every year!

Reeves family tradition: candy cane cookies. The recipe can be found over on Robynette's Diner.

We do a lot of our shopping online this time of year. All of the boxes seemed to arrive on one day. ALL of them.

Audible went all-out for the holiday party this year! That's a table made out of ice. For real!
